Grinding Guards – designed and produced for Holer ltd. Initially, Holer planned to produce their grinding guards in metal but soon discovered that this required too much finishing and so in conjunction with a third party mould-maker, Teknik Deezinez recreated the components designing them in Solid works then reproducing them in via injection moulded plastic. The resulting products required little finishing and created a product that was strong and durable. Holer was exceptionally pleased with the result.
Teknik Deezinez has undertaken a number of projects for Sistema who specialise in plastic products for storage for home and business. In this instance the brief was to create a unique hinge system that is durable, creates a good airtight seal and the result after design and development was the ‘Click Clack Lid’. Wet and forget is a household name in New Zealand offering a range of highly successful cleaning products. In this instance we were briefed to create a unique product concept from designs supplied which when implemented would be manufactured with composite materials bonded to make the final product. Teknik Deezinez created the tooling for product including copper electrode to create a textured effect within the Mould. This project is typical of the often challenging projects our company undertakes and we are specialists in product concept development and production.
